Hey everyone,
The shooter game, now named "Shootout Island" has been submitted to the Kongregate/Scion Contest. Let's hope we win one of the prizes. We've done that game in 1 week and I've done most of the coding in less than 9 hours on the last day. We're thinking on continuing work on the game to make it larger and more polished, closer to our original idea.
Here's a little update on Aikonia now. I've started re-writing the coding from scratch, to make it run in a smoother manner and to re-organize everything. We've got the team working on the game and we're implementing multiplayer. When multiplayer is selected, the second player only appears in the areas, not on the world map. We've also made a smooth camera system for zooming in and out and the such. Currently working on enemy A.I.
We'll see how it all turns out ;)

Unlike a lot of RPGs, this game has no classes, and the skills are not linked to those specific classes. In this game, you build the character you want to be, of cuorse you require certain stats for each skill, but you can still mix and match. Here's a skill list without the requirements:
Sword Mastery / Blunt Weapon Mastery / Magic Mastery / Bow Mastery
Sword Plus (Damage with sword constantly raised) / Slash Attack / Critical Buff // Fire Slash / Lightning Slash / Ice Slash
Heal / Power Up / Defense Buff // Fire / Lightning / Ice
The following are not shown on the skill tree below yet:
Hammer Plus / EarthQuake / Critical Smash // Fire Swing / Lightning Swing / Ice Swing
Bow Plus / Arrow Rain / HeadShot // Fire Arrow / Lightning Arrow / Ice Arrow

"Aikonia" is now the official name of the new project! Not gonna talk too much about it, but here is some more screenshots~!
This one is from a cutscene, nothing shows though for no spoilers~

The title screen. It has very nice music too =P

Whenever you're in a town or any area, the game switches from eagle eye view to beat'em up style movement, kinda like those double dragon games.

Hey everyone!
PiXeL2 is FINALLY released! And about damn time too, god!
Also: Time to shed light on this new Unnamed Project!
Ok, so, in general, it's a free-roaming RPG, except that on the world map, it has a top-down view, and you can only travel on the road, but in any direction, back and forth, and you can return to whichever area or town you want.
BUT, in towns and any kind of areas, it's side-scrolling, kinda like a beat'em up. like....Double Dragon! Except with stats and skills and such. There's lots of skills in fact, and equips and weapons too! And you don't choose a base class, you get to build your character the way you want according to how you place your stat and skill points. You can be a mighty warrior with healing abilities, or a mage that is an expert bowman! =P
The storyline isn't complete yet, but hopefully it'll be flexible enough for the player, since the game has lots of freedom, the storyline changes according to what you do, where you go, and how you act. There's also a day/night feature AND a good/evil system. ^^
